OVAL NAILS & PANEL PINS

Oval nails are designed for general purpose interior use. Made from steel and available in a wide range of lengths, these oval nails have a streamlined shape of head which makes them virtually disappear into the timber. They can be easily driven into timber using a standard metal hammer without much force. To avoid splitting the wood, the long oval side should follow the grain of the wood.

Panel pins /veneer pins are a handy, cost-effective way to join wood together. These nifty pins are lightweight and strong – perfect for tacking on the back of a unit, or when applying skirting, cladding, moulding, beading and window frames as the head sinks flush into the timer and can be easily painted over. Easy to punch in, panelling nails don’t require pre-drilled holes and minimise wood-splitting for a secure finish every time.
