SHEET MATERIALS - AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL TIMBERS

Chipboard or Particleboard or low-density fibreboard (LDF), is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even sawdust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded.  Chipboard is cheaper, denser and more uniform than conventional wood and plywood and is substituted for them when cost is more important than strength and appearance. it is the lightest and weakest type of composite material fiberboard, except for insulation board.

Available from standard grade versatile chipboard to tough grade, moisture resistant flooring & fireproof cement bonded particle board.
